I saw her standing there by herself one day
I grabbed her and dragged her down an alleyway
No one could hear her screaming, we were alone
No one could hear her pleading, "Please let me go!"

It was such a sight, I watched her die
As her amber eyes stared into mine
I swore that I wouldn't let her life
Go on through the night to the morning light

I slit her throat and she hit the ground with a thud
She gagged and choked as she drowned in her own blood
All her worst fears were enacted there that night
She screamed through tears, "Please don't take away my life!"
